Woooooowww...this thing is intense. Too bad Steven distracted Duff- otherwise you guys could learn a lot more. Oh well- you still have the rest of the story to learn about Leatherwings and Servants of God.
I know AoR might not be adored as ASC but hell I love this story. I enjoy making up these creatures and worlds and since my main story is fantasy mixed with reality this story is wonderful practice. 
Slash/Steven in this one. Why? Because I think it's an adorable pairing.
Why the violence? Because the story is about a rare species trying to survive while being hunted.
So you know this is how the chapters work: The prologue is set in the past. Since that one, although it introduced all the characters, it's about Axl and Izzy. Hence why Chapter one takes place in the future with Axl and Izzy. This chapter is about Duff, Slash, and Steven so Chapter Three will be about those three. So whoever the past chapter is about the present chapter will be about. Does that make sense...? I hope so.
